It was awful and terrible when someone left you. You could move on, do the best you could, but like Eli had said, an ending was an ending. No matter how many pages of sentences and paragraphs of great stories led up to it, it would always have the last word.

Maybe the truth was, it shouldn't be easy to be amazing. Then everything would be. It's the things you fight for and struggle with before earning that have the greatest worth. When something's difficult to come by, you'll do that much more to make sure it's even harder- if not impossible- to lose.

It was so easy to disown what you couldn't recognize, to keep yourself apart from things that were foreign and unsettling. The only person you can be sure to control, always, is yourself. Which is a lot to be sure of, but at the same time, not enough.

We don't care if you talk to other guys.

But when you're sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room and you jump up and tackle him without even introducing us, yeah, it pisses us off.
It doesn't help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without even acknowledging the fact that we're still there.

We don't care if a guy calls you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned.
Nothing is that important at 2 a.m. that it can't wait till the morning.

Also, when we tell you you're pretty/beautiful/gorgeous/cute/ stunning, we freaking mean it.
Don't tell us we're wrong.We'll stop trying to convince you.

I'd be utterly stunned by a girl who greeted me with 'Hey handsome!' instead of 'Hey baby/ stud/ cutie/ sexy' or whatever else you can think of.
On the other hand im not sayin i wouldn't like it either.

Hola!

Just got back from Universal Studios. I've got one conclusion:

I really really don't like roller coaster rides.

not that I loath it. just not used to the motion.

and Never take a ride right after lunch.

I had a theory...

coz the last roller coaster theme park I went to was when I was 9.

thats why I'm not used to it.

its true!!!!

hahas you guys keep saying that that's just an excuse.

anyway I really enjoyed the 4D shrek theater & the canopy ride.

if you hear anything bout the dino ride....

that wasn't me.

honest. just someone who looked like me.

who am i?

i'm still me.

i'm the girl who loves books. i can spend hours happily in a bookstore or in the library. i'm the one who'd rather be curled up with a book on the couch with chocolate than go out and party. i'm the one who always has her nose buried in a book. i enjoy writing. its my expression of choice. i've started books but so far i haven't finished any. one day my books will grace the bestseller section of bookstores. and one day i will have my own library. i've got a book reviews blog called saywhatreviews although i've got to admit its been ages since i posted on it.

people say i'm bubbly and cheery. thats probably true. i enjoy life. i like simple things and its very easy to put a smile on my face. put me outside in the pouring rain and i'll spin around for you and enjoy the feel of the raindrops and the music they make. i feel the wind and stop for a moment to enjoy God's gift. i turn my face towards the sun to feel its warmth on my face. i love food. food makes me happy. frankly i believe as long as you bring me a food treat i can forgive you for anything. =)

i'm idealistic. i believe the best in everyone. i'm the weird girl who feels uncomfortable hearing someone say something disparaging about someone else even if i don't know the person. the Lord has given me the gift of being able to beauty in everyone i meet. and thats something i'm very thankful for. because beauty... is truly beautiful to look at. sometimes i get burnt because i go to close. but i don't think i'll ever stop believing in people, in their goodness.

sometimes i get bossy. especially when there's a job to be done. when i've got something to do i do it with all i've got and sadly personal issues often get pushed aside and i may disregard people along the way. i enjoy the thrill of finishing a job or project. i get excited seeing challenges and tricky projects. very easily i can become absorbed in my work.

i believe in fairy tales and happy endings. i love spinning around and taylor swift. whimsical at times.. i'm the one who still reads winx and w.i.t.c.h. comics.

but what defines me the most is God.. Jesus Christ.

my salvation was something that i truly didn't deserve. yet here i am a child of God. i still have a long way to go to pleasing him and learning His Word. everyday He takes my hand and guides me.. He is patient with me and always knows me best. and everyday i am thankful i have Him.

so yes. this is me. i'm me.

hello world. what i learnt today:

1. math teachers give mean paybacks

well..it's been ages since i've blogged..
alot has happened and the most significant event in my life right now are my prelims in a fortnight's mtime... time has passed so quickly... i always told myself i'll study later nearer to the exams and now WHAM! its suddenly here.. where has all the time gone? i feel supremely unprepared for my papers and am praying really really hard by some miracle i'll get good grades..
am gonna meet mariono later! yay! can't wait to study with her tonight. ^^ i've missed that girl terribly ever since we went to different schools.. she is such a wonderful friend who you can trust no matter what.. i find that i'm really blessed to have found such a rare friend.. my phone ran out of balance so its hard to coordinate with her... =( hahas hope we manage to meet up without a hitch today.. knowing me and my sense of direction...

and tmr! i have a secret mission! hahas. its a surprise for a certain 'friend' of mine. hahas if aaron read this he'd be laughing his head off. and no aaron is not my 'friend'. thankfully he doesn't know bout my blog.. hahas i'm actually hoping no one willl read my blog since i've left it dead for so long... well maybe mariono jo and ak. ^^

today, yveena had her first ever ankle injury! i found it pretty cool hahas and kept poking it in class. perhaps that was because i wasn't sure how serious it was exactly, it being my first and all. got it through playing touch rugby! i like touch rugby.. its really tons of fun! wish i could find people to play with it outside school and class ^^ ak won't let me play with his friends!! evil brat! anyway when i got home mommy dear pointed out it was swelling and it ffinally started to hurt more when i was resting it. it was quite interesting all in all.

in addition i realised that suddenly i had 3 ccas! hahas well joined SFC coz wanted to help out and apparently according to Anjeney i was still a member of iota and since today's meeting was in my homeroom anyway i went for it. and not to forget my dearly beloved arts republic! with wonderful people and slack-but-enriching activites that we do!

so thats that.. *poke foot* hahas!

hello!!! yveena has had her first cosplay!! hahas the even was much much smaller but it was so fun to dress up and be someone else for a day!! Lisa was so nice and helped me with well almost like 99% of my outfit top to toe! hahas saturday was a truly wonderful day.. i had breakfast at carl jr's!!!! yum yum yummy!! then legend of the seeker!! watched the end end!! like yay! ~~~~
sunday was cool too.. had a blackout in the church basement.. thats where my youth sunday school is.. so cool.. at first it was like candlelight.. nice and cosy with everyone gathering in the room that has the one and only small lil light.. then that went out too.. so it was pitch black!!!! awesome!! sadly we couldn't have lessons there.. boo hoo.. went up to B1 instead..hee..

today.. was a day full of ups and downs..

7.30am- wake up, walk around the house, then pop back to bed

11.00am- go to hon's place! jump around.. see phoebe's stuff..watch cable, put a show on record and wonder if that will fill up the memory.. fiddle with remote, try to figure out starhub, drink bubble tea, jump around

1.00pm- head to library

1.48pm- little girl comes over to bug me, resist urge to glare at her, instead i smile.. oh joy..

1.56pm- lil dumb boy crawls on bench and stares at me.. ahh!!!!

2.25pm-toddler runs around me in circles then stops in front of me and stares, then smiled then ran screaming happily around me

2.49pm- another kid runs up to me and touches zwink.. glared him away..

seriously.. is there a sign thats says kids come bug me on my head? not very patient with kids.. where are their parents? gah. dumb spoilt brats screaming around the library. so many other 'jie jies' and 'kor kors' around going so cute... why don't the kids ever approach them?!!!

anyway.. i finally gave into temptation and borrowed lots and lotsa story books! and one 17america mag. ^^ ah.. its een so long since i've been limiting myself and depriving myself of my beloved books.. only max 3 books a week.. ah.. so nice to be back with them..
